Marc Dorman is an experienced business operations executive in the private and nonprofit sectors. Marc’s expertise includes overseeing day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management, as well as staff management in the insurance and health care industries.

A graduate of Temple University, Marc joined Moran Insurance in 2003 as Chief Operations Officer. Prior to working with Moran Insurance, Marc was with a nonprofit health care facility, providing operational strategy, budgetary management, and designed staff development.
As President of Moran Insurance Marc is focused on delivering client service at a level that exceeds expectations. His philosophy of being 100% responsible to clients and relentlessly pursuing effective solutions is the cornerstone of the agency’s mission. Marc currently serves on several carrier advisory boards, as well as the Agents’ Panel for Insurance Agents & Brokers. He also actively involved with the Parents’ Place of Maryland and the South County Chamber of
Commerce. Marc and Moran Insurance support several area nonprofits including Providence Center, Opportunity Builders, St. Mary’s High School, Bosom Buddies, and the YWCA. A West River, Maryland resident, Marc enjoys spending time with family, traveling and playing tennis.

Matt Lehmann,CBIA, Vice President, Managing Partner

Matt was born and raised in Severna Park, Md. were he attended St. John’s the Evangelist and went on to St. Mary’s High School where he graduated in 2000. From St. Mary’s Matt went on to attend the University of Delaware where he played Lacrosse and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Consumer Economics in 2005.

Matt joined Moran Insurance in 2005 where he specializes in all lines of Commercial and Personal Insurance. Matt has a background in the construction industry working for A.C. & R Insulation through High School and College and has received the designation of CBIA (Certified Builders Insurance Agent). Matt is an active member of multiple nonprofit organizations including the Providence Center and OBI.

Matt prides himself on his strong relationships with his clients and the ability to work with them to create the type of coverage that fits their needs in the ever changing economy.

Matt and his wife Allison live in Annapolis. When Matt is not in the office he enjoys taking his 2 dogs (Kobe and Tiger) to the dog park, playing golf, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.

Russell DeVoe, JD, Vice-President

Russ has been with Moran Insurance since 1985, leaving his private law practice to come to Moran to handle large commercial accounts and serve as general counsel for the agency. In addition he handles the contract surety business for Moran Insurance. Russ has a Bachelors degree in Financial Management from the University of Baltimore as well as a Law Degree from the University of Baltimore Law School. Russ is married with 2 sons and 5 grandchildren, is an avid golfer and is a bit of a car lover.

Donna R. Moran, CIC, Account Executive

Donna grew up in Severna Park, MD. Donna studied at Anne Arundel Community College and graduated from Fleet Business School. She is a Certified Insurance Counselor with over 27 years experience specializing in business insurance.
Donna enjoys spending her free time going to the beach, cooking, gardening, scuba diving, kayaking, good wine, reading and spending time with friends. Her community service includes years of serving on numerous non-profit board committees. She currently serves on the board of Bosom Buddies Charities promoting breast cancer awareness.

 

Thomas Simmons, JD,CLCS, Account Executive

Tom is a graduate of Gettysburg College and the Florida State College of Law and joined Moran Insurance in 2011. Prior to working with Moran Insurance, Tom was an Associate Attorney with the Law Firm of Buck, Migdal & Myers in Annapolis. While in private practice, Tom worked primarily in area of Insurance Defense, representing both businesses and individuals in a variety of claims, including construction defect, premises liability, and products liability. Tom currently serves on the Board of Anne Arundel County CASA for Kids.

Krystle began working in the insurance industry in 2005 starting out as a customer service representative. Krystal quickly transitioned into the role of personal lines sales. Krystal holds her license in property, casualty, and life insurance. Krystal enjoys spending all of her free time with her daughter Grace and family.

Kim started with The Moran Group in 2008 and is our Executive Administrative Assistant. Kim has an accounting background and received her Property & Casualty License in 2009. Kim resides locally with her husband and son.
She enjoys craft making and is very involved with her son’s baseball team during her free time.

Brandon grew up in New Castle County Delaware and graduated from The Charter School of Wilmington in 2001. He joined Moran Insurance in 2006 and is a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives and
Certified Builders Insurance Agents. Brandon resides on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and enjoys boating, going to the mountains in Pennsylvania and being around friends and family.

Lisa, a Virginia native, started her insurance career in 2005, joining Moran Insurance in 2007. She is licensed in Property/Casualty and Life and holds a CBIA (Certified Builders Insurance Agent) designation through Builders University. She continues her insurance education by attending classes to earn her CISR (Certified Insurance Service
Representative) designation. Lisa resides in Maryland with her family; John and John Trey. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Eddy grew up in Anne Arundel County, MD and attended Mt. St. Joseph High School in Baltimore. He is currently finishing up his degree in Computer Sciences. Eddy has been part of the Moran Group since 2005 and is designated a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist by IRMI. Eddy still resides in Anne Arundel County and enjoys sports, boating and the outdoors.

Natalie, an Anne Arundel County native, is an Account Executive in the personal and commercial lines of business. She is licensed in Property/Casualty, Life & Health insurance. As a former small business owner, Natalie clearly understands the advantages of comprehensive insurance coverage. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community and has planned events and raised funds for various non-profits. Natalie resides in Kent Island and enjoys golf, reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie is a life-long resident of Severna Park, MD. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology as well as a degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is now earning her Masters in Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Robert Ehm, Account Manager

Robert, an Annapolis born resident, has worked in the insurance industry since 2004. Robert began his work in insurance as a Customer Service Representative and then transitioned to a role of Property Underwriter for Nationwide Insurance. Robert is now responsible for a considerable book of commercial business including locally owned family businesses, corporate entities, and non-profit organizations. Robert is actively involved in his community where he encourages and educates his neighbors on the benefits of sustainable practices. Robert enjoys the outdoors and spends his leisure time honing his carpentry skills.
