Marc Dorman is an experienced business operations executive in the private and nonprofit sectors. Marc’s expertise includes overseeing day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost, and margin control; and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goal management, as well as staff management in the insurance and health care industries.

A graduate of Temple University, Marc joined Moran Insurance in 2003 as Chief Operations Officer. Prior to working with Moran Insurance, Marc was with a nonprofit health care facility, providing operational strategy, budgetary management, and designing staff development.

As President of Moran Insurance, Marc is focused on delivering client service at a level that exceeds expectations. His philosophy of being 100% responsible to clients and relentlessly pursuing effective solutions is the cornerstone of the agency’s mission. Marc currently serves on several carrier advisory boards, as well as the Agents’ Panel for Insurance Agents & Brokers. He is also actively involved on the Foundation Board for Hospice of the Chesapeake. Marc and Moran Insurance support several area nonprofits, including Providence Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, Hospice of the Chesapeake, Opportunity Builders, CASA, St. Mary’s High School, Bosom Buddies, Make a Wish Foundation, Severna Park Community Cente,r and the YWCA. A Shady Side, Maryland resident, Marc enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and playing tennis.
